All non-metal materials are sealed with shellac, which is a natural and sustainable resin. This makes them more durable and water-resistant, however they are not guaranteed to last forever. I encourage customers to treat pieces gently and refrain from subjecting them to water or other harsh conditions. Some small changes may occur in non-metal materials over time.
